The Objective
- Create a journey for learners to deepen their connection to and understanding of the “Larger Than Memory” exhibition, which could be done at home (due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
- Serve as a tool for educators in grades k-8.
The Plan
- In collaboration with the design, education, and curatorial teams, we created activities that guided learners toward understanding the themes of the exhibition.
- Learners would then participate in these at-home activities with the intention of deepening their connection with the exhibition.
The Outcome
- The guide accomplished it’s goals with families and educators.
- One of the artists said that his mom shared it with her students and they enjoyed it.
- It proved to be an effective way to build community during a difficult time.
